ok so your skin has undertones right? the 3×3 rule means skin, ink, and color all need to vibe together. your natural skin is part of the art!
equal distance
every element needs proper breathing room. ink spreads over time (wild right?) so good spacing means your piece stays crisp for decades
body flow
your muscles, curves, how you MOVE — all of that matters. a tattoo should look beautiful whether you're chilling or in motion ya know?
heavy research
if you want a tattoo of something you love i am ABSOLUTELY going down a 3am wikipedia rabbit hole about it. that's just how i operate tbh
